I see pretty many handles on the fourth gun. Upper one is for carrying it around, ok; if the right one is to shoot with (I'm almost sure it is) then left one is to handle it since its weight is far beyond the right handle; what's the lower one for? And how does it all work, by the way?

well it suppose to be used like this [link] those handles - one of them was just for removing any ammo/reactor/cells from behind for recharging (?), whatever, couple others are just for comfortable shooting. However i think concept of 4th gun isn't best thing here :) It was some sorta research

If so, this weapon is dangerous not only to a target, but to its wearer (I guess I should call him that) too: if the weapon got shot and it explodes... well, you can imagine the consequences. Couldn't think about its shoulder pad as about a shoulder pad; I thought it might be some kind of charging area where the charge is kept until release. If so, the lower handle may be just as you said - a reactor remover if the reactor gets broken or something else happens to it. With all that, the weapon can be handled like a minigun, but right handle (with the trigger) should be moved to a side (left, right or ever upper) of the weapon - thus it's possible to hold it ergonomically (I guess it's the right word).

fair enough, but it depends on common recoil of that gun. If it's not exist or not too strong it can be used. Nevertheless, i'd say this concept isn't good and all others have functional glitches, so, basically they suck, that what i want to say :D

It's possible to somehow hold minigun running at the full speed and stay on your feet, isn't it? Plus I've imagined it as an energy weapon with very little to no recoil at all - I mean, did recoil struck the Death Star when it struck Alderaan?
And, well, okay, if the author says so, I can't add anything.
