Alright when I looked at this at this before fully expanding it resolution I didn't realize how much detail you had put in. and it was still an impressive pic. The fact you manage to do it with what look to be simple shapes and changes in shading alone is something I cant help but be blown away by.

The shock wave effect is ...well...umm impressive.(Trying to find a word that doesn't get over used )

the blocking brush you used on this really makes this piece, for me anyway. It's rough but still everything is there.
enough details to make this piece freaking amazing xD

I love how sketchy but realistic it is at the same time. And just because of bluish tones, I will try it one day.
Will you polish it to the final painting? But maybe it is better like this ;)

Hey, thanks that was a point :) Well, about polishing - actually it's from cancelled project, from company where I worked before, so this thing belongs to them and I can't finish it or modify it for myself anyhow :/

About ownership... When you finish commissioned painting, copyrights go to the client, right? You cannot modify it but you are allowed to post it anywhere after project release or if not under NDA? And how does that "copyright transfer" looks like? Do you just send files to client or both sides have to sign some stuff etc?
Sorry for wasting your time ;)

The way you're getting such a realistic look from just a stubby brush and the correct tone choices is very inspiring.
