Character Line by leopardsnow Character Line by leopardsnow
Some of old concept-art I've done working at Gameloft for Modern Combat 3 project. It's not even 1/10 of all characters and their variations that we had then. Most of these guys were included to the original game I think.

Why the f*ck that top second-from-left guy have a Mandalorian insignia?

In everything else - great work.

The producers obviously love the whole concept of Americans being the 'good guys' when it is quite the opposite. Modern Romans and all that.

Seeing that the Romans had an Empire that lasted nearly a thousand years and whose language is the basis of most languages in modern western Europe, that's not much of an insult.

The Romans had culture, Americans don't. I meant it as the Romans invaded and stole what they wanted from other countries much like Murica.

Yes, because we maniac Americans make a habit of invading countries for no other reason than for the :iconmermaidmanevilplz:.  Completely ignoring things like rap and hip-hop, the grunge movement and rock n'roll in all of its forms and functions.

I'm thinking someone's been hanging too much propaganda.  The US is far from some Wild West Darwinian nightmare full of ignorant rubes who got lucky and like to hide behind and inflated military budget and come into your country either as tourists or invaders, thinking that we own the place and that we rightfully deserve everything.  That's self deprecation, it's the joke.

The word you're looking for is "inherited".  Not stole.  See, when the immigrants came to the US, they brought over all of their stuff with them.  It's their cultures and customs that they had in their homelands.  The US is a hodgepodge of people from all over the world that brought their everyday lives with them, they didn't stuff them in a shoe box and pitch it into the Atlantic.  Over time these values, traditions and insights migrated outwards and developed into one big ball and we all got involved in the melting pot of societies.

What you have to understand really is that America was found, is populated, and governed by humans.  Humans are flawed.  Sure, we're crass, we're lazy, we're arrogant and yeah, we like to fight.  A lot.  But we're trying to get better, to be better.  To bring back the age of proud patriots who reside in a nearly Utopian society — a shining city upon a hill guided by manifest destiny — a land of progress, wealth, and luck, where people are able to leave their pasts behind and start anew In short, this is the flavor that embodies the American Dream.

It's not gonna happen today, it's not gonna be tomorrow, it might not even be in the next decade, the world doesn't work like that, but one day we will return to being the nation that won two world wars and put twelve men on the moon.  I have hope that it will.  That's all I've got to say on the matter.  Do with it what you will.

Americans didn't really win the Great War, they didn't have boots on the ground 'til 1918. The British, Canadians and Newfoundlanders did all the hard work.

No argument against that.  It wasn't an American war, we had had enough of it following the catastrophic facepalm that was the [American] Civil War. That beig said, you have to admit that when we did get involved we got shit done.  The Imperial German Army gave the U.S. Marines the name Tifel Hunden for a reason.

Yeah, those "last hundred days" would probably have been 150 (two hundred tops) without the Americans, don't forget though, that the Germans also nicknamed the Canadians; Sturmtruppen. And it was the British who invented the teufel's wagen (what the German's called tanks).

Wait, what the fuck does WWI have to do with mine and Red-Gomorra's line of conversation?  I never mentioned that in any of my replies.
